Dear Dr. Matthews,

Where do I begin to thank you? You took me on an almost year-long journey when I had such a tremendous fear of dental procedures and dentists.

In overcoming these fears and resolving my myriad of dental issues, you have been so patient, kind and gentle. You communicated beautifully throughout — regarding the procedures, the options, the finances and coverage of treatment to meet my many needs.

Your quiet demeanor, your sense of humor, your kindness to me and your staff, and your professionalism all contributed to the confidence and trust you instilled in me.

I must admit I am glad this part of the journey is over. I will miss you, though!

You are obviously "called" to be a dentist.

You are not only very well trained and very experienced, you also think outside the box for creative solutions for difficult, long-term problems. You are so very talented.

Thank you for all your help and for your gentle caring.
